InX's client is a private-equity-backed global healthcare and life-sciences strategy consultancy generating £350m in revenue and entering a phase of rapid growth. Having recently secured investment, the firm set out to build the senior bench required to support its expansion, with a mandate to hire Partners across its entire offering, regardless of location.
The challenge: A global search with no fixed geography
This was not a single-market hire. The consultancy needed to index across its full range of services and identify the strongest healthcare and life-sciences Partners in the world, wherever they were based. Running fragmented, market-by-market searches would have slowed the build and diluted accountability. The client needed one coordinated global search, run from a single point of contact, capable of moving at the pace its investors expected.

The search launched in October 2025 and has continued at pace, with candidates engaged discreetly and business plans developed in parallel across EMEA and the US to support hires as they land.
The result: Two Partners placed, a further three to four in motion
Two Partners have been hired and started in London, including one from McKinsey. Offers have been accepted in the US, with business plans now live across both regions. A further three to four hires are expected to complete across EMEA and the US in 2026, extending the build InX began at launch.
