InX spotlight series: In conversation with Sevin Artik

At InX, exceptional results are delivered by exceptional people. Our team combines deep specialist knowledge, market intelligence and a relentless focus on quality. This spotlight series offers insight into the people behind our practice, exploring how they navigate the executive search landscape and what drives them beyond the office.

Firstly, could you provide an overview of your role and area of specialism at InX?

I lead the Research & Delivery function for the Operations Consulting practice at InX, North America. Based in New York, I specialise in sourcing top-tier talent for consulting clients through retained search, team lifts and acquisitions. With a strong focus on the end-to-end search process, I lead market and talent research, sourcing strategy, market mapping, candidate assessment and relationship management.

The executive search market is fiercely competitive; what would you say sets Inx apart?

InX is differentiated by the depth and quality of its network across consulting leadership. Years of focused relationship-building allow the team to quickly access, engage, and advise top-tier talent while delivering highly targeted solutions for clients.

Beyond individual searches, InX leverages its network to connect senior leaders with one another, fostering long-term relationships and insight-sharing that benefit both candidates and clients. That ability to serve as a true connector in the market – while remaining precise and discreet – is what sets InX apart in a competitive search landscape.

What's the best piece of career advice you've ever received?

The best piece of career advice I’ve received is to surround yourself with a strong, supportive team. Working alongside people who challenge you, share knowledge and invest in each others success creates an environment in which you can grow faster, make better decisions, and do your best work.

Outside of work, what would people be surprised to learn about you?

I have a passion for aerial arts, which is a form of performance discipline rooted in circus arts, combining strength, flexibility and creativity using suspended apparatus, such as hoops and silks. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places, volunteering at the animal shelter and I have a keen interest in fashion too.
