Matthew Cook

Senior Partner, Strategy & Operations, Europe

Matthew is a Senior Partner within our Strategy & Consulting team in London, specialising in Partner and Managing Director appointments across Europe. Working with MBB, Tier 2, Big 4 and boutique consulting firms, he has over eight years’ experience in the industry, particularly in supply chain and procurement, whilst increasingly working on corporate strategy and transactions-focused searches.

Following his Master’s in international politics, Matthew joined a boutique recruitment firm where he built their management consulting practice. He has since partnered with market-leading consultancies and boutiques, supporting one-off senior hires, team builds, and business acquisition opportunities. He is adept at identifying critical or niche skillsets for clients and understands the value of hands-on experience within the operations consulting world.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys playing the guitar, reading and both watching and playing sport — particularly cycling, football, cricket and F1. He also loves cooking and exploring different cuisines, helped by having a French fiancée, and spends as much time as possible with his son and partner.
